Robert Milman
Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer

Robert Milman, 64, is executive vice president and chief innovation officer for Listingbook. His role at Listingbook is to apply his expertise from 30 years of developing real estate information systems to today's needs of the real estate industry and the consumer. Over two decades ago, he foresaw how the Web could change the real estate industry. His vision and inspiration for Listingbook was the belief that the Internet would be the medium for an interactive, agent-centric real estate community. His goal was to provide a service that integrates both the business needs of the real estate agent and the technology savvy consumer in a collaborative environment. This innovative thinking led to several Listingbook services that are either patented or pending patents.

Prior to developing Listingbook, Milman developed a variety of real estate programs. In the mid 80's, Milman developed MOBIS (Mobile Information System), which was the first cellular real estate system in the country. In the late 80s, Milman developed a real estate distributed database system which was marketed by the largest MLS vendors in North America. Committed to providing real estate companies and their agents services to streamline their business by integrating technology, he continued the development of systems supporting real estate brokerage operations and agent productivity through the 90's.

From 1969 to 1973, Milman served as a Marine Corps supply officer where he helped design the first automated system to computerize Marine Corps logistics.

Milman, a native of Atlantic City, N.J., graduated from University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1969 and has additional degrees in real estate and data processing.
